"Welcome Great Pumpkin!" 🎃 è il saluto che Linus prepara aspettando il Grande Cocomero - come viene tradotto in Italiano. Naturalmente, il mio è un omaggio a Schulz, il creatore dei Peanuts, sebbene questa sia una vignetta creata da me, osservando il suo lavoro.
Linus è uno dei personaggi che preferisco perché ha un carattere positivo e spera sempre in Charlie Brown, il suo amico timido patologico. In un'altra scenetta di Schulz, ho visto Linus che scrive la letterina al Grande Cocomero: nel PS, chiede di non rivelargli la verità se davvero non esiste. Penso che questo spieghi molto dello spirito da sognatore di Linus.
Sebbene io non impazzisca per Halloween, mi piace lo stesso il suo spirito saturnale e di riappropriazione della notte. Inoltre, i colori autunnali sono così caldi, pieni e vivaci.
Ho disegnato questo Linus e la sua zucca sull'IPad con la Bamboo Stylus. Sul primo livello, ho creato lo sfondo del cielo stellato; poi ho aggiunto la staccionata. Al terzo livello, ho tracciato in linea sottile e grigia la zucca; al livello dopo ho aggiunto i colori e ho invertito i livelli per definire i bordi con lo strumento gomma. Allo stesso modo ho disegnato e colorato Linus.
Chissà che cosa farà Linus stanotte nel suo campo di zucche? 😆
"Welcome Great Pumpkin!", it's what Linus writes waiting for the Great Pumpkin 🎃. That's my homage to Schulz, author of "Peanuts"' though this one above comes from my imagination and osservation of his work.
Linus is one of my favourite characters because he's got a positive attitude and is always trusting into Charlie Brown, his pathologically shy friend. In another cartoon by Schulz, I saw Linus writing Great Pumpkin a letter: at the P.S., the boy asks not to say the truth in case it doesn't exists. I think this comment explains quite well Linus'dreamer attitude.
Althuogh I don't go nuts about Halloween, I like as well his saturnal mood and the fact that people conquest again the night-life. Moreover, Autumn colours are so warm, rich and vivid.
I painted this Linus and his Pumpkin with my I-Pad and Bamboo Stylus. On the first level, I drew the background of the full moon; then I added the fence. At the third level, I drew the Pumpkin with a thin, grey line; on the following level, I put the colours and then, I inverted the two levels to cut off the excess with the tool eraser. At the same way, I drew and colored Linus.
I wonder, what is going to do Linus in the pumpkin garden? 😆
