I am painting the last picture to be hung in the Parish St. Cipriano in Rome, for the celebration of Lent and Easter. Now, the subject is the 14th Station of VIA CRUCIS, when Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus are deposing the corpse of Jesus into the sepulchre. Yesterday, I was defining the design, with acrylic colors very light, without any medium but water. Today, I am going to paint the background, which will be darker to give the impression of the crypta, where only a ray of light steps in. I am still elaborating how I can get the plasticity of the three men... It will be an exciting challenge!

Cipriano, Rome, Lent till Easter time 2016.  For Lent and Easter time, four of my works are decorating the columns in the Parish St. Cipriano in Rome, XIV municipio.  I decided to show the pictures, inspired from the Via Crucis, wishing to create an atmosphere  of meditation. As when I visualized them, people of the Parish may feel the change like something positive and new.  Per questo periodo di Quaresima e Pasqua, quattro miei lavori decorano le colonne della Parrocchia di San Cipriano a Roma, XIV municipio. Ho deciso di esporre i dipinti, ispirati alla Via Crucis, con lo spirito di creare un'atmosfera di meditazione. Come quando li ho visualizzati, la gente della parrocchia mi auguro possa percepire il cambiamento come qualcosa di positivo e nuovo.
