È iniziato il restauro del David di Michelangelo a Firenze.

Chissà chi era il ragazzo che ha guidato lo scalpello a scavarlo fuori dalla massa di marmo?

Si è portati sempre a immaginare che certe bellezze possano essere solo ideali, ma soprattutto che queste appartengano solo a una favolosa "età dell'oro". Il presente è così distratto dal quotidiano, offuscato dall'abitudine, che è quasi impossibile notare come la bellezza nelle persone esista ancora.

Certo, l'arte ci aiuta ad accorgerci della meraviglia. 

Così, spesso gioco a trovare somiglianze fra persone contemporanee e grandi ritratti o immagini del passato. Come quando ho visto la prima volta Louis Garrel e, con mia sorella, abbiamo sorriso nel notare la somiglianza con alcuni volti da Michelangelo... E la meraviglia continua nei secoli. ☺️

It began the restoring of David by Michelangelo in Florence. 

Who knows who was that boy inspiration for the sculpting from the marble stone by Bonarroti? 

Usually we think that such beauties cannot be real, but moreover they are expressions of a fabulous "Golden Era". Present is so much distracted by everyday life, dazed by routine, that it is impossible to realize how beauty is still the same in people. 

Naturally, the art can help us to recognize such wonder. 

 So, often, I play to find out comparisons between contemporary people, even friends, and great portraits from the past. As when I saw the first time Louis Garrel and, together with my sister, we was smiling comparing him with some faces painted by Michelangelo... and the wonder continues century after century. ☺️
