🇮🇹 "Working Class Hero" è uno dei testi di John Lennon che mi colpisce e descrive di più . Comprendo tutto di quel che canta perché racconta una condizione che tuttora m'indigna e mi fa soffrire.

Mark Twaine dichiarava più di due secoli fa che non dovrebbero esistere discriminazioni di sesso, di classe, di età e di colore della pelle, mentre faceva conferenze per il romanzo "Huckleberry Finn". Tutti siamo nati per essere felici, continuava Thomas Jefferson, quando ha stilato i fondamenti della Costituzione Americana. Martin Luther King faceva suo il pensiero di Twaine, incitando il corteo per i Diritti Umani con "I have a dream...". La Costituzione Italiana ha nei Principi Fondamentali che nasciamo tutti uguali e abbiamo diritto a realizzarci secondo la nostra indole e merito.

John Lennon racconta qualcosa di più riguardo al sistema di esclusione che viene applicato in ogni società malata. Si parla tanto di bullismo oggi; è fuori moda il termine italiano "nonnismo" o iniziazione risulta troppo tribale; sistema mafioso e clientelare sembra eccessivo. Eppure, penso che quando una società non riesce a garantire pari opportunità di realizzazione a tutti i suoi membri e, soprattutto, a premiare i talenti o i meriti, be', quella è un sistema in decadenza.

Amara considerazione?

Penso che nessuno debba nascere per essere sacrificato e sprecato, come l'"Eroe della classe operaia".

🇬🇧 Working Class Hero is one of the lyrics by Lennon which shocks me and describes me more. I understand all he sings because he tells about a situation that makes me angry and suffer, to this day.

More than two centuries ago, Mark Twaine said that discrimination about sex, class, age and color of the skin should exist no more, while he was speaking to promote his novel "Huckleberry Finn". All of us was born to be happy, Thomas Jefferson used to declare, when he wrote down the fundamentals of the United States of American Constitution. Martin Luther King took Twaine's thought, inciting the crowd of Human Rights movement with his speech "I have a dream...". Italian Constitution ratifies in its Fundamentals that we all were born equal and we have the right to be fulfilled according our own nature and merit. 

John Lennon tells something more about expulsion system which is applied in every unhealthy society. Bullying is a over-popular question, now; the Italian word "nonnismo" (that is, the persecution of old members called "grandpas" against the newcomers of a group) is old-fashioned and "initiation" sounds too tribal; mafia and patronage system sounds excessive. Though, when a society cannot guarantee same chance to fulfillment for any and each of its members and, moreover, it cannot reward the most talented and deserving individuals, well, I think that that one is a system bound to decadence. 

Do you think it is a bitter consideration?

I believe that no one was born to be sacrificed or wasted, as it is sang in the "Working Class Hero".
