Studio dell'Apollo di Vejo

🇮🇹 Sto iniziando a studiare l'Apollo di Vejo, un progetto che da tanto volevo eseguire. Stamattina, sull'onda dell'entusiasmo di un programma della RAI le #Meraviglie, curato da Alberto Angela, ho deciso di provare. 

Sarà un lavoro articolato, dove metterò in risalto le somiglianze fra i volti del passato con alcuni che vedo tutti i giorni... Ma ne parlerò appena avrò eseguito almeno gli schizzi. 😜

Secondo me, è importante il circolo virtuoso che si accende fra arte e cultura. Il programma di Alberto Angela è davvero ben curato, con immagini che suscitano interesse e stupore, anche grazie alle potenziate tecnologie (il 4 K in HD di ultima generazione) che la TV Italiana ha messo a disposizione di una squadra competente. Spesso infatti le buone idee non hanno i mezzi giusti per avvincere. Non è stato questo il caso e, anzi, suggerisco di cercare su RaiPlay.it queste puntate di Meraviglie, che mostrano dettagli di luoghi molto noti qui in Italia. Se proprio dovessi trovare un punto debole, a mio avviso, è il saltare da una zona all'altra della nostra nazione, soprattutto nel sunto finale. Ma comprendo la motivazione di questa scelta stilistica: è un elenco "in pillole", che dovrebbe stimolare la curiosità del pubblico senza saturare con immagini e spiegazioni troppo esaurienti e dimostrare la varietà e i tesori artistici e culturali sparsi dappertutto sul territorio italiano. 

🇬🇧 I am beginning to study the statue Apollo di Vejo, one of the ideas I have been imagining about for  long time. This morning, on the enthusiastic wave of a RAI TV program, #Meraviglie, attended by Alberto Angela, I decided to try. 

It will be a structured art work, where I am going to point out comparisons between faces from the past with some people I meet everyday... But I'll talk about as soon as the skecthes are drawn. 😜

It is important, for me, the virtuous cycle that starts up between art and culture. That TV program with Alberto Angela is very well-structured, with images which are interesting and wonderful, also thanks to the fact that Italian TV provided an expert team with excellent technologies (4K in the latest HD solutions). It often happens that the best ideas haven't got the right means to achieve. Of course, this is not the case and, instead, I recommend to take a look at RaiPlay.it searching for Meraviglie, which shows details of places well-known here in Italy. If I should point out a weak-point of the program, as for me, it would be this jumping all around my Country, especially in the summing-up in the end. Though, I understand their stylistic choice: it is like a short description, whose aim is to encourage curiosity of audience, without saturating through images and too detailed explanations, to show varieties and every artistic and cultural  treasures all around the Italian Country.
