Leggerezza - Levity

🇮🇹 La mia parola per questo 2020 sarà LEGGEREZZA. 

Sì, tutto il mondo avrebbe bisogno di un po’ di sana leggerezza, per prendersi meno sul serio. Si fanno pesi e misure su tutti e tutto, senza rendersi conto che alle volte, farebbe bene essere più lievi, ariosi, sorvolare sui disaccordi o sulle false aspettative che non si potranno mai raggiungere. 

Non è superficialità, è uno stato d’animo che porta sollievo, che fa sorridere sulle inezie e si pone in contrapposizione con gli atti che sono gravi, seri, così stupidi da avere effetti irreparabili se non c’è la libertà e lo spazio e la mente sgombra per agire. 

Allora per me sarà Leggerezza la parola da tenere sempre pronta — quando le situazioni diventano ingestibili e si vorrebbe essere altrove o qualcun altro in un’altra vita, davanti le palesi ingiustizie e le crudeltà sbadate, nel tetro buio che non conosce ironia.

La leggerezza è di acciaio propulsivo per fare un balzo di grazia, in natura e nell’arte… ma anche nella vita. 

🇬🇧 Levity

My word for this 2020 will be Levity. 

Yes, the whole world would need of a little of good levity, to be not so serious. One can weight and measure anything, without considering the fact that, sometimes it should be better act light, airy, forgetting to be right or wrong or those fake expectations that one knows won’t ever be achieved. 

It is not shallowness, it is a state of mind that gives relief, that makes you laugh of foolish things and is opposite to situations that are really serious, or so stupid that can cause irreparable effects whenever there is not freedom, space and wide, open mind to act correctly. 

Well, it will be levity the idea to have with me - whenever I want to be anywhere else or somebody else in another life, in front of clear injustice and nonsense cruelties, in the terrible dark which knows no irony. 

Levity is propellent steel for a jump full of grace, as in nature as in art… but in life, too.
