Il Folklore non è stato mai così Fantasy

🇮🇹 Michelangelo è una delle mie fonti ideali di ispirazione. Quest'anno è uscita la mia prima storia a fumetti, dedicata a questo artista con il titolo di "Perché non Favelli?!?". Fa parte di un libretto autoprodotto da un gruppo di autori e disegnatori emergenti: "Folklore Espresso" - su Instagram @folklore_espresso. Ognuno di noi prendeva spunto dal folklore, dalle leggende e dalle canzoni popolari italiane, facendo notare quanto fascino, mistero e suggestioni possano esistere nelle origini culturali italiane, tingendosi di fantasy. È stato un primo lavoro, ma ricco di tanto impegno ed entusiasmo. Questo libretto possiede l'energia dei nuovi inizi📖🌱, carichi di aspettative e improvvisazioni, e speriamo di comunicare suggestioni originali.

L'abbiamo presentato al Romics 2022, grazie all'ospitalità nello stand della nostra Scuola Romana dei Fumetti, in cui ci siamo incontrati e abbiamo incominciato a collaborare, creando un gruppo di studenti ed ex. È stata un'esperienza eccitante per tutti noi e siamo riusciti a vendere tutte le copie stampate e ora stiamo per soddisfare altre richieste che ci sono arrivate anche sulla piattaforma ko-fi.com a questo link:

Tutto il processo mi ha dato la consapevolezza che spesso alle buone idee basta poco per funzionare. E poi, per me collaborare con altri autori è stato un incitamento a dare il meglio, a raffinare e curare il mio potenziale, con attenzione rinnovata.

🇬🇧 Michelangelo is one of my ideal sources of inspiration. This year my first comic story was released, dedicated to this artist with the title of "Why not Favelli?!?". It is part of a self-produced booklet by a group of emerging authors and designers: "Folklore Espresso" - on Instagram @folklore_espresso . Each of us was inspired by Italian folklore, legends and popular songs, pointing out how much charm, mystery and suggestions can exist in Italian cultural origins, tinged with fantasy. It was a first work, but full of a lot of commitment and enthusiasm. This booklet has the energy of new beginnings, full of expectations and improvisations, and we hope to communicate original suggestions.

We presented it at the recent Romics 2022, thanks to the hospitality in the stand of the Roman School of Comics, where we met and began to collaborate, creating a group of students and former. The whole process made me aware that good ideas don't often take much to work. And then, for me, collaborating with other authors was an incentive to give my best, to refine and take care of my potential, with renewed attention.
