ALTER EGO

🇮🇹 Domani,  27 GIUGNO dalle ore 17.00, ci sarà un mio lavoro alla mostra ALTER EGO della #scuolaromanadeifumetti a Vertecchi, Via Pietro da Cortona 18 Roma. 

Insieme ai miei colleghi di primo anno della Scuola, abbiamo rappresentato in bianco e nero, questo tema così inquietante: quando un altro Io si cela in un personaggio. 

Il mondo del fumetto e della letteratura dava infiniti spunti: Clark Kent e Superman, Bruce Wayne e Batman, Peter Parker e Spiderman, senza dimenticare un classico come Dottor Jekyll e Mr. Hyde. 

Io ho giocato invece su un personaggio che mi ha fortemente influenzato: David Bowie e i suoi innumerevoli Alter Ego, su cui spicca Ziggy Stardust. L’ho inchiostrato a pennello con inchiostro di China. Sarà bello vedere tutti i nostri lavori, non solo per la creatività di ciascuno su un tema come l’Altro Me stesso, ma soprattutto perché ci saranno gli originali in mostra. Questo significa che le pennellate, i tratti e tutta la nostra abilità saranno apprezzabili. 

🇬🇧 Tomorrow, on June 27th, there is going to be one of my works at the exhibition ALTER EGO of the Scuola Romana dei Fumetti in Vertecchi Shop, Via Pietro da Cortona 18, Rome. Together with my colleagues of the first academic years at the School of Comics, we represented in black and white such intriguing theme: when another opposite Self is hiding inside one character.

The world of comics and of literature gives innumerable inputs about: Clark Kent and Superman, Bruce Wayne and Batman, Peter Parker and Spiderman, nonetheless, the classical Doctor Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. 

On my side, I played with one character who has  highly influenced me: David Bowie and his multiple Alter Egos, above all, Ziggy Stardust. I inked with paint-brush #DaVinci n.2 and China Ink Black #Pelikan 4001. It is going to be interesting to watch all of our graphic works, not only because of our creativity dealing with the Alter Myself, but because the original pictures are going to be showed. Which means that anyone can appreciate all the paintbrushes, graphic signs and the ability of our team.
